पुषाण हस्त मुद्रा क्यों कर मणिपुर चक्र से सम्बंधित है?

पुषाण का अर्थ है – पोषण करने वाले सूर्य भगवान। चूंकि सूर्य देव का प्रत्यक्ष सम्बंध हमारे भीतर स्थित solar plexus मणिपुर चक्र से होता है – अतः हम सरलता से कह सकते हैं की सूर्य भगवान को समर्पित पुषाण हस्त मुद्रा – solar plexuse chakra यानि मणिपुर चक्र को एक्टिवेट ऐंवम सन्तुलित करने में स्वतः ही सहायक सिद्ध होगी।

पुषाण हस्त मुद्रा (Pushan Mudra), is the third one most useful and widely practiced hand gesture for a proper digestion. This mudra which is concerned with the optimal Nourishment and Digestion by providing better functioning of digestive system by invoking our internal digestive fires to optimise the nourishment it receives from the foods we eat . This way – it improves digestive flow and help our body receive vital nutrients from our meals. It also does proper psycho-somatic detoxification and also improves our digestion, elimination, gallbladder, liver and stomach etc. It has a relaxing effect on the solar plexus (the stomach, liver, spleen and gall bladder) and helps regulate the autonomic nervous system. It has an excellent effect on nausea and indigestion. It activates our Pran Vayu – the energy of receptivity, Vyan Vayu- which circulates flow of oxygen and blood to the whole body, Samaan Vayu – which is the inward circular flow of subtle emerge, the energy of digestion and assimilation, and also Apan Vayu – the energy of elimination. This enables our ability to digest all that we physically take in. By the help of this, we can better assimilate life’s experiences. Here, the gesture of the right hand represent a receptive position whereas the left represents the elimination. Pushan mudra is a hand gesture expressed for accepting and receiving for absorbing the food with the Right hand and giving or letting go with the Left hand as residual elimination and is able to have a relaxing effect on the solar plexus region concerning the stomach, liver, spleen and gall bladder) and helps regulate the autonomic nervous system, nausea, flautance, heaviness and indigestion etc.

Mr Naran well described its following two different versions: First one – Digestion or Acceptance mudra and second – Vital Essence Mudra since it helps to activate prana vayu (the energy of receptivity), samana vayu (the energy of digestion and assimilation), and apana vayu (the energy of elimination).

As stated above, Right Hand Side represents the Receptive position where as Elimination with the Left hand side.
In the Acceptance version, upper-GI-tract issues like reflux and belching are treated where as in the Vital Essence Pushan Mudra, 
the lower-GI-tract issues like gas, bloating, or constipation are treated.

पुषाण हस्त मुद्रा – जो की मणिपुर चक्र से सीधे सम्बंधित है व जो शरीर को नवचेतना प्रदान करती है। जैसे देव सूर्य अग्नि उत्पन्न करते हैं – ठीक उसी प्रकार से मणिपुर चक्र हमारी जठराग्नि को सुदृढ़ कर हमें ऊर्जावान ऐंवम आत्मसंयमित, आत्मविश्वासी बनने में सहायता प्राप्त होती है।

पुषाण मुद्रा अभ्यास से मणिपुर चक्र के सन्तुलित होने के सँग सँग – प्राण वायु,व्यान वायु, समान वायु ऐंवम अपान वायु – चारों के निम्नलिखित लाभ एक साथ निम्न प्रकार से लाभ प्राप्त होते हैं:

प्राण वायु- यह हमारे श्वसनतंत्र ऐंवम विभिन्न शारीरिक प्रक्रियाओं के उचित सम्पादन में सहायक होती हैं।

व्यान वायु – हमारे शरीर से लेकर मष्तिष्क तक सूचनाओं को उचित प्रकार से प्रेषित करती है ताकि सभी मांशपेशियों, नसनाड़ियों ऐंवम ग्रंथियों तक उचित ऊर्जा पहुंच सके।

समान वायु;- समान वायु का छेत्र ऐंवम कार्य मणिपुर चक्र के जैसे ही समस्त पाचनतंत्र से होता है।

अपान वायु – शरीर में एकत्रित अनुपयोगी मलमूत्र, प्रदूषित वायु के निष्कासन कर, हमें स्वस्थ्य रखने में उपयोगी होती है।पुषाण मुद्रा में ये तीनों गुण विद्धमान होने से यह मुद्रा हम सभी के अतिरिक्त – विद्यार्थियों हेतु अतिउपयुक्त है – चूंकि इस से – शारीरिक शक्ति, याददाश्त सभी ठीक प्रकार से बनी रहती हैं।


Pushan Mudras – Acceptance Mudra version as called by Mr Naran is concerned with the Manipur Chakra whereas Pushan Mudras – Vital Essence Mudra version is concerned with the Swadhisthan or Hara or Sacral Chakra.

This mudra expresses accepting and receiving with one hand and giving or letting go with the other hand. When practiced together it influences the energy currents that are responsible for absorbing and using food for fuel, as well as for eliminating food. In addition, Acceptance Variant of Pushan Mudra eliminates the excess of water from the body as it generates heat in the body

Affirmation: Let’s accept and embrace everything that is good for us and let’s release everything that no longer serves us- whether physically or even mentally.

How To

Pushan Mudra Has Two Versions:

First one with Vyan and second one with Pran Mudra in Right Hands, whereas Apan Mudra will be practiced with both the hands in both the variants.

(1) Acceptance Version of Pushan Mudra is formed with Vyan Mudra Gesture in Right Hand by Touching Tips of Akash Element Middle Finger and Air Element Index Finger with Fire Element Thumb. Other fingers will stand erect.

(2) Apan Mudra in Left Hand by Touching Tips of Earth Element Ring Finger and Akash/Space Element Middle Finger with Fire Element Thumb.
Time: Do it any time & for any time duration like Gyan M and better with chanting ॐ रं नमः Beej Mantra.

Use : After Meals (For Proper Digestion):-

For activating the Solar Plexus or Manipura Chakra) – Meant for Upper GI
(Gastrointestinal Diseases) Track Issues Like: Reflux (Heart Burning) and Belching (Gas Coming Through Mouth डकार).

It Improves digestion and do nourishment and Assimilation of digested food and Detoxifies the Body!
It can relieve nausea during motion sickness & good for curing Diabeties too!

Life Enrichment: Also Known as Acceptance Mudra, it helps us to accept our live situations & to overcome sadness or an unnecessary resistance to situations, this mudra can help to get into a mood of acceptance.

Life Balancing: It also helps learning to balance our life including balancing our income and expenditure, and by shaping our mind in a natural way to learn balancing all the activities in our life.

Helps in Preparing us To Accept & Live in Present And Also Helpful if Practiced before giving some kind of Presentation or facing Interview etc.

Students Friendly Mudra: Is Students Friendly as Students don’t feel like to get Sleep and do away the Laziness after taking Meals & Acceptance Mudra;

Why this Mudra is important? There are two rules in life:

  1. You get what you do not want.
  2. You do not get what you want.

We have to manage our life with whatever is happening, by accepting it. You may need the forgiveness exercise too. If anybody is giving problem to you, anybody is angry with you, or plotting against you, by being in this Mudra and doing forgiveness exercise, you will establish harmony immediately. You can repeat the exercise and the Mudra as many times as possible.

Vital Essence Version Pushan Mudra Variant is meant to Balance the Swadhisthan Chakra: Doing Pushan Mudra with Jap Yoga by chanting ॐ वं नमः and focused on Orange colour, our Hara chakra get balanced.

Pushan Mudras Vital Essence Variant is formed with making Pran Mudra in Right Hand & Apan Mudra in the Left Hand Meant For solving lower-GI-tract issues like gas, bloating, or constipation
